Heating + electric blanket in every cottage

A quiet base in the Snow Belt

Waterford Manor is a small village stay on the Midlands Meander, close enough to explore both Mooi River and Nottingham Road without either being on top of you. Two nature trails run through the property, and the Mooi River alongside it is stocked well enough that past guests have caught bass.

Rosetta sits in what locals call the Snow Belt, so every cottage has heating and an electric blanket. Lavender, Sunflower and Rose go further, with their own fireplace or wood-fired stove.

Working in Mooi River?

Mooi River is set to see significant investment in the years ahead, including a new dry port reported to be worth around R10 billion, and that's already bringing contractors and long-stay professionals into the area. If you're working in Mooi River and want a quieter base just outside of town, Waterford Manor is a popular choice for exactly that, and we regularly host guests staying for weeks or months at a stretch.
