About Waterford Manor, Rosetta
Waterford Manor offers bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation in Rosetta, on the Midlands Meander in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. The idea behind it is simple: a stay in the Midlands should feel like slowing down, whether you’d rather have breakfast made for you or cook your own meals in one of our self-catering cottages.
Our range of cottages reflects that idea too. Some guests want a luxury weekend with nothing to do but look at the view. Others are working in Mooi River for a few months and want a proper kitchen and a quiet base outside of town. Others just need a comfortable, affordable room to break up a long drive. That’s why Waterford Manor has cottages that range from a simple overnight room to a self-catering family cottage to a luxury honeymoon suite, rather than the same style of room copied across the whole property.
Two nature trails run through the property, and the river running past it has fish in it, past guests have caught bass there. It’s a genuinely quiet stretch of the Midlands, tarred road in, no dirt roads to navigate, and close enough to Mooi River and Nottingham Road to explore both without either being right on top of you.
